HOLA PAMILYA (FAMILY)! - pasensya (sorry) for making kayo (you) think ako (I) was going to write on Linggo (Sunday). Ako (I) didn't know that the P-Day changes araw (daily).
As you can tell - I'm stuck speaking Taglish - HAHA.
Pero, saben como pensabamos que Tagalog era mucho como Spanish. Jokelang (joke) it is not! Tiene muchas palabras similares pero es MUY differente. So far I have learned so many words but my grammer is still a hindi po (no). I trust and put my pananampalataya (fe) in the Paginoon (Lord) that He will help me as it says in DYC 33:10. The Lord has answered so many of my prayers here at the MTC and I love it! I have such an amazing MTC President and His wife is so sweet! I have gotten to meet so many Pinoy Elders & Sisters that were in that FB groupchat. Actually una misionera me dio una cartita con un keychain de su cuidad. My kasama (companion) is a PIONEER here in the Philippines - Her name is Sister. Makanda NOT Wakanda HAHA. She is the first missionary from Africa to serve in the Philippines! She is super sweet and helps me be very talkative - as well as my district! Most of them are serving in the same mission as me! Quezon City North! Only Sister. Makanda & Sister. Kivalu are serving somewhere else. Most of them I know from our US departure. They are very fun to be around and they help me ALOT in tagalog. OH - so you know the blanket you guys gifted me & the passport case Mildred gifted me! My kasama saw it and shes like - you like BTS! and I said I love BTS! She knows them but not like a big-big fan. THEN, our district leader heard me tell someone I like BTS and he was like who is your favorite member and then we started talking about BTS LOL - he knows them through his sister who is a big fan! His favorite is Jimin, like Mildred! And Sister. Kivalu likes korean dramas! SO I always think about you guys back at home!
I want to hear more about you all though! Email me, okay! I miss you all and mahal (love) you all! How was your birthday Mildred & how did the test go??? How are you all??? I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU. I pray for you all day & everyday.
This week has been soooo busy! We have had many devotionals & workshops! And today I got to go to a temple session at the Manila Temple - it was so nice & peaceful!
My next P-Day is on Wednesday from 11:15AM-12:15PM. I hope to hear from you all. Sending lots if love, strength and health your way.
OH - and I still get asked everyday If I am Pinoy haha! I love it!
